My creative Idea and Plan 

Brief 

I want to create a show based around chatting with people whilst doing their makeup. I would create YouTube videos and a podcast. The goal is to show off my skills and knowledge as well as teaching people about makeup and sharing people interesting life stories. I want to have something that is a bit unique and not something that has been done a million times already. 

 

Research and Reflection 

I will start with the research and reflection. Looking into my industry and what does into what I want to do. How to make YouTube videos? How to create a podcast? Trends? What the industry looks like? What sort of stories I want to tell? I will then reflect of my skills and knowledge by doing a SWOT analysis. And looking at the work that I have done so far. 

 

Planning 

I shall then start my planning. Who will film it? Business model canvas? Filming space? Who will be my “guest”? Makeup looks? Design plans? What products will I use? What is my budget going to be? A times scale plan.  

 

Development 

Next, I will start the development and putting things into place and practicing my idea. Doing some workshops to develop my skills such as a video editing and filming. Practicing my interview skills and develop them. Choosing someone to be my “guest” and then researching them and producing appropriate questions.  

 

Creating the prototype 

I will create a prototype of my idea. Creating the YouTube video and podcast. I will then post it so I can then get feedback about my work and see what I can change and develop.  

 

Dragons Den 

After doing all this I will put together my presentation and plan out all my slides and what I am going to say. I have 15 minuets to explain my whole plan and idea. So, each slide must well planned out.
